What the Holy Bible says about Parenting:

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22: 6)

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. (Proverbs 1: 8-9)

21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. (Colossians 3: 21)

20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. (Colossians 3: 20)

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” (Ephesians 6: 1-3)

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6: 4)
