What the Holy Bible says about Mercy:
9 “This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. (Zechariah 7: 9)
12 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, 13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (James 2: 12-13)
6 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings. (Hosea 6: 6)
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Matthew 9: 12-13)
7 If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. (Matthew 12: 7)
15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. (Romans 9: 15-16)
